1. Who We Are

Zoobi is an AI-powered spoken-language learning application. We act as the “Data Fiduciary” (equivalent to a data controller) that determines how and why your personal data is processed. If You have any questions, contact Us at zoobi@aieduservices.com.

Profile & learning preferencesNative language, target language, proficiency level, learning goals, chosen AI tutor/avatar, interests, notification and language preferences.
Voice & conversation dataSpeech-to-text transcripts of your speaking practice and your conversations/interactions with the AI tutor. Your speech is transcribed on your device; we store the resulting text, not the audio recording.
Support & correspondenceMessages, enquiries and feedback You send Us.
Payment dataSubscription plan and status, and transaction confirmations. Card/bank details are collected and processed directly by our payment providers (Razorpay / app-store billing) — We do not store full payment credentials.

2.2 Data collected automatically

CategoryExamples

2.3 Microphone & on-device processing

The Application requests microphone access solely to enable speaking practice, speech recognition and pronunciation feedback. Your speech is converted to text on your device using the device’s speech recognition, and the on-screen avatar’s voice (text-to-speech) is also generated on your device. We do not upload or store your raw voice recordings on our servers — only the resulting text transcript is sent to our backend to power the lesson and the AI tutor’s reply. We do not use your microphone to listen when a lesson or practice session is not active.

2.4 Children

The Application does not impose an age requirement. Where a child uses the Application, we expect this to happen with the involvement of a parent or guardian, who is responsible for supervising that use and for any consent required under applicable law. If You are a parent or guardian and believe we hold data about your child that You would like reviewed or deleted, contact zoobi@aieduservices.com and we will assist.
